Tutor & Educator

Alongside composing, Aslan teaches composition and mentors young composers and artists.

Aslan works with Colab SA, a creative initiative built on the belief that talent needs support, visibility and a place to be heard. In South Africa many gifted artists and composers still lack recognition and representation, and Colab SA exists to change that through mentorship, collaboration and opportunities to present new work.

Aslan has led mentorship programmes, composition workshops and one-to-one lessons in orchestration, film scoring and contemporary technique, for students at every stage.
